Risk Management

Highly Engaged Risk Management Services

The overarching goal for ACIG’s Risk Management Services (RMS) is to anticipate and solve problems before they result in an adverse impact to the ACIG Members. In order to meet that goal, RMS stays continuously engaged with each Member.

Our Mission

“Enhancing and protecting the long-term sustainability of our Members”

We do this through the following strategies:

  • Proactively identifying and assessing risk potential throughout a Member’s organization;
  • Assessing and offering innovative and industry leading risk transfer and risk financing techniques;
  • Helping strengthen a Member’s contractual management processes and procedures;
  • Balancing the interests of the individual Member with that of the other Members;
  • Providing guidance to the Members through timely service, education, and resources.

This all starts with quarterly risk management calls with our Members and their Brokers with the ACIG Service Team. Sometimes they occur more often. The purpose is to ensure that we are all looking ahead for issues that may require preemptive action, research, and proper planning while keeping the communication channels wide open.

Anticipating Risk Through Innovative Solutions

The Risk Management Services (RMS) Department anticipates risk. Contractors are in the business of taking risk and we consider ourselves a trusted advisor in risk management. Our department delivers innovative insurance solutions that, along with risk management best practices, can reduce the overall cost of risk. To meet this goal, RMS provides real-time risk management consulting and insurance services to our Members in cooperation with the Members' brokers.
