ACIG’s Performance Excellence and Quality Management Department (PEQM) creates great value for its Members. Since its inception in 2008, PEQM has assisted Members in growing from basic Quality Control to the highest levels of Performance Excellence, including quality structures, cost of poor quality (CoPQ), continuous improvement, innovation, systematic processes, and culture. The bottom line: Members are increasing quality performance, reducing rework, and eliminating construction defects.
ACIG’s Quality Certified Professionals lead and work with Members’ Executives and Quality Directors in strategic planning, leadership, customer focus, metrics, analysis and measurement, workforce development, operations, and results. Three PEQM staff members are certified Baldrige Examiners. In other words, quality means more to us than what happens within a construction site.
PEQM’s main focus is assisting Members in preventing construction defects, becoming benchmark companies, and supporting the Members’ long-term business success. As a result, Members can better position their organizations to succeed and accomplish their missions with greater clarity while creating alignment among leaders, employees, customers, stakeholders, and key partners.
PEQM regularly issues product alerts, Lessons Learned Bulletins, and a quarterly Quality newsletter. We also conduct in-person visits, facilitate peer group meetings, and sponsor webcasts/webinars on a variety of topics.
