As you may be aware, Shirley and I have established four (4) undergraduate scholarships, the “William and Shirley McIntyre Scholarships,” with the AGC Education and Research Foundation in recognition and appreciation of the success of the ACIG Group and as a way to pay some construction industry dues.

We have requested that these scholarships are available on a priority basis to employees and children of employees of ACIG and its shareholders who are pursuing a degree in construction management.

Beginning July 1, 2023, applicants may begin accessing the scholarship application through the AGC website: AGC Scholarship Application. Please be sure to confirm the applicant’s eligibility and that the application is correctly completed online as detailed in the Undergraduate Criteria page.

In addition, in order to receive special consideration for the William and Shirley McIntyre scholarship, the applicant must answer the question in regards to association with ACIG and include his or her affiliation to the company.

Please be aware that the application deadline is November 1, 2023. Finalists of the William and Shirley McIntyre Scholarship will receive an invitation via e-mail to have a personal interview with a local AGC representative by February 2024. If the finalist is awarded a scholarship, he/she will be notified in March 2024 and receive the award prior to the fall 2024 semester.
